Happy end of the semester! Many of you are home enjoying the beautiful sunshine at home.
When I eventually wrap up this semester (ahem, graduate students), I’m looking forward cooking delicious vegan meals for my non-vegan family. We cook many traditionally Korean meals at home and a big challenge will be making yummy vegan substitutes of these Korean foods.
My mentor, Barbara Jun ’15, shared a glimpse of what delicious homemade vegan food looks like- including Korean meals! My mouth is watering.

Penn Vegan Society hosted a delicious bake sale at Greenfest 2013 last Friday. Some of the delicious goodies included no-bake cookies, rice crispy bars, peanut butter bars and chocolate chip cookies, all 100% vegan.
PVS also hosted a study break at the Graduate Student Center this Wednesday. I snagged these two babies before everything was gone. It took all of ten minutes for these sweet vegan treats to disappear into the hands of hungry graduate students.

It’s the start of a new school year for all our returning Pennsylvanians and the beginning of a new and amazing experience for the incoming students. It’s been a hectic summer of renovations and construction on campus to get us ready for the upcoming academic year, and the Penn Vegan Society has been just as busy preparing for the return of students to campus.
